By far one of the best scary movies I’ve ever seen, and the reason: it messes with your psyche more than anything. It’s not gory, there are no overly made-up monsters; it’s just creepy, plain and simple – a very interesting mind-fuck, if you will.
I don’t want to give the entire movie away so I’ll just say it’s about a messed up father whose past basically fucks with everyone. Shitty description I know but I don’t want to ruin the movie by giving up its whole synopsis.
I have no idea why this movie isn’t mentioned more. I was introduced to it by my parents about 10 years ago and I’ve met a a handful of people who’ve seen it or even heard of it. I need new friends.
